Voluntary certified onsite sewage disposal system installers files, 1988-[ongoing].

The division is responsible, in cooperation with county health departments, for proper management of onsite sewage disposal systems in the state. In an effort to educate septic tank installers and to improve installation technique, the division piloted in 1988 a voluntary certification program for septic tank installers. This series is composed of test results, copies of certificate of competency, agreements between the installer and the department, proof of bonds filed by the certified installer and correspondence.
